Consistency Rules
- Premium and Advanced Evaluations – 50%, meaning the highest day’s profit cannot above 50% of the total profits.
- Zero Qualified Accounts – 40%, meaning the highest day’s profit cannot above 40% of the total profits.
- Advanced and Premium Qualified Accounts – No consistency rule.
Firm Rules
- Daily Loss Guard Rule – If you hit the Daily Loss Guard, soft breach. Your trading is locked until the next trading day (18:00 ET). If your open or closed P&L reaches -2% during the trading day, all positions will be flattened.
- Note: Advanced and Premium Accounts do not have a preset Daily Loss Guard, but you can set one manually.
- No Microscalping Rule – Trades that are less than 10 ticks AND 2 minutes long both are considered to fall under microscalping and are not allowed.
- Automated Trading Rule – The use of automated trading mechanisms is prohibited. However, semi-automated trading through a custom indicator, for example, is permitted given that you manually place trades.
- Scaling Plan Rule – No Scaling Plan on Advanced Accounts, but does apply to Premium Qualified Accounts and Zero Qualified Accounts. You can find the specifics here: https://help.alpha-futures.com/en/articles/9492025-scaling-plan
- Price Limit Rule – Trading within 2% of a CME Price Limit is prohibited on all accounts, including Evaluations. You can find out more about Pricing Limits Here: https://www.cmegroup.com/trading/price-limits.html#equityIndex
- Copy Trading Rule – Is allowed as long as it is a single user executing the trades, and that user is registered on the Alpha Futures account.
- News Trading Rule – Forex Factory Economic Calendar the source for high impact news events.
- Evaluation Accounts – No Restrictions
- Advanced and Premium Qualified Accounts – No Restrictions
- Zero Qualified Accounts – Can hold through news. However, cannot execute any new positions 2 minutes before/after high impact news events. The window is 4 minutes before/after for speeches.
