- LucidPro Consistency – A single day’s profits cannot exceed 40% of total profits.
- LucidFlex Consistency – A single day’s profits cannot exceed 50% of total profits.
- LucidDirect Consistency – A single day’s profits cannot exceed 20% of total profits.
Firm Rules
- Inactivity Rule – Accounts not traded in 30 days permanently deleted from the system.
- Permitted Trading Times –
- LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDirect Accounts – Positions must be closed by 4:45PM EST. Cannot hold over the weekend. Positions left open will be closed automatically, but will not result in a breach.
- LucidLive – Swing trading is allowed on LucidLive accounts.
- News Trading – Allowed without restrictions.
- Scalping Rule – Scalping is allowed as long as they reflect realistic execution and market behaviour.
- Dollar Cost Average (DCA) Rule – Scaling into positions is allowed.
- Automated Strategies – Automated trading systems and trade copiers are allowed.
- Cooldown After Blowing Live Account – 2 weeks cooldown before you can purchase a new evaluation after blowing a live account.

I'm loving Lucid Trading, appeared recently and the futures trading experience been interstellar! Nothing short of clean, clear and direct!
I requested a payout, 2 mins later I find it was already reviewed and sent! I don't know any other firm that was this prompt, not even the biggest firms out there can work this fast! No hassles, so you as a trader can focus on trading and strategy rather than bs rules!
I only wish their payouts were capped little higher or the cut was at least 95% but I have hopes with promptness like that this firm is on a quick way to the top!

Lucid trading is amazing in terms of their offerings, support and pretty much everything else. Support is prompt in resolving issues. I would definitely recommend people to give it a chance. However I’m dinging one star as their system detected a false positive violation of Max Contract limit rule and I had to deal with the wait and follow up on resolution with no fault of mine. This issue made me doubt myself and spend hours reviewing trades on what I did wrong and this is all when I was one step closer to a payout. I appreciate their help though in addressing this and returning the profits back to accounts. Hopefully they resolve this.

I was shocked at how fast Lucid paid my payout request -- must have been seconds from the time I requested the payout to the time I could see it in my bank account. If the bank showed the exact time that the payout was received, I would be able to say exactly how fast the payout processing was. I have received payouts from 4 other prop firms, but this is definitely the fastest -- by a lot!
It all speaks to the simplicity and transparency of Lucid's rules -- they know even before you request a payout that you followed the rules and deserve it. Some other prop firms make you jump through hoops with all sorts of arbitrary rules and requests that were not stipulated up front, or that have no justification. Beware of those firms -- they're just trying to avoid paying you, or are delaying the payment because they have liquidity issues.

This has been an overall great experience. The prices seems industry standard and sometimes have some good deals. Platform is easy to use and almost too basic but clean and easy. The reason for only 4 stars instead of 5 stars is their payout rules and amount and that they are losing projectx. Projectx sounds like they can't do much about and the stricter rules are what helped me get to my first payout. So I'm actually grateful for the strict rule. It has made trading less stressful.

I bought 5 accounts from Lucid Trading. After I received an email saying my accounts were READY to trade on Tradovate, I started trading. I saw a setup, entered a trade, and everything looked fine and I was in profit. Then suddenly, all of my accounts were closed at once because of some kind of error. I have video proof. (I record my trades.)
I spent several hours with their support trying to solve it, but they basically dismissed me.
No explanation that made sense, no compensation, nothing.
In the end I lost around $400 just on the accounts themselves.
