Commissions
- For Test and Pro accounts, Commissions for all products amount to $5 per round trip per contract. Similarly, Micros incur $0.50 commission per round trip per contract.

Consistency Rules
- Minimum 5 Trading Days where a trading day as defined as any day in which you have executed at least one trade.
- 50% Consistency Rule — A single day’s profits cannot exceed more than 50% of your total profits. This rule is only for the Test phase.
Firm Rules
- EAs/Trading Bots/Algos — These are not allowed.
- CME Price Limits — Price limits apply and it is your responsibility to exit your positions before these limits are hit. A failure to do so will cost you your Pro Account.

- Inactivity Rule — Must have at least one trading day per calendar week. A “traded-day” is defined as a day where you hold an option position on your most traded instruments for at least one minute.
- In case you need an exception to this rule, it is important to reach out to the Take Profit Trader team for this.
- Intraday or EOD Trailing Drawdown — Drawdown is calculated on an End of Day Basis (5PM EST) on the Test and the Pro+ Accounts. However, on the Pro account, there is a Trailing Drawdown which is calculated intraday based on your peak balance; this includes realised and unrealised gains.
- Drawdown stops trailing once it has reached the initial account balance.
- Maximum Accounts — Can have a maximum of 5 Pro/Pro+ accounts at one time.
- News Trading — There are no restrictions on the Test account around News. However, all Pro and Pro+ accounts must be out of all positions and cannot have any open orders one minute before, during and after the follow news events:
- FOMC Statements/Announcements — Wednesday’s at 2pm ET.
- Non-Farm Payroll (NFP) — Friday’s at 8:30am ET, once every month.
- Consumer Price Index (CPI)
- The following events are also prohibited for specific instruments:
- Crude Oil Inventories | Prohibited Product — Crude Oil
- Bond Auctions | Prohibited Products — 10Y Note, 30Y Bond.
- Counter Positions — Cannot hold positions in opposite directions on closely correlated products. This rule applies on all account types.
- Account Resets — Can reset a Pro account up to three times per account.

Payout Policy
Pro Account
- Profit Split – 80/20.
- Buffer Zone Requirement – Once you reach the level of your maximum drawdown.
- Example: A $50k account with a Max. Drawdown of $2,000.
- In this case, you will need to reach a balance of $52,000 before withdrawing profits.
- Traders can withdraw profits inside of the buffer zone, but this is only permissible once the account has been terminated.
- Note the following table for buffer zone profits:
- Example: A $50k account with a Max. Drawdown of $2,000.

Pro+ Account
- Profit Split – 90/10.
- No buffer zone requirement.
- No limitations on withdrawals.
- Profits can be withdrawn from day one.
General Policies
- For withdrawals over $250, you pay no fees. However, if you request a withdrawal of $250 or less, you will be charged a $50 withdrawal fee.
- Note: This does not include fees charged by third parties like Paypal, which will also be deducted from the withdrawal amounts.
- Payout Processing Time
- First you must withdraw money from your account into you TakeProfitTrader Wallet. This can take roughly 24 business hours to process.
- Once the money is in your wallet, you can then request a withdrawal. Then, a TakeProfitTrader admin will approve the request. This process can take up to 12 business hours, though is usually quicker.
- Wise and Paypal payouts are processed within 12 business hours.
- For payouts via Plaid, this is usually a real time process and can take a couple of minutes. In same cases, it might take 1-2 business days for the money to appear in your bank account.

Hello! Well first let me just say im obviously still pretty new BUT I just got approved for my very first payout from you guys (1st of MANY!) and I have interacted with your customer service a few times as well so let me share some feedback!
So far your my favorite prop firm. I work with many others and I wish I would have just came straight here as 80% of the rest out there have been like pulling teeth and dancing through hoops by comparison! I REALLY REALLY appreciate you guys being the most straight forward prop from bar none and its a major reason I am here.
Your customer service being available anytime is a MASSIVE W and again greatly appreciated! I will admit at times its a bit slow or over loaded but honestly thats nothing compared to waiting days for these other places send me 1 email so keep it up.
I have 1 gripe I would like to share and that is mainly based on the fact that I trade with micros instead of minis. I was reviewing your commissions structure and it unfortunately seems geared to "unfavorable " for those of us who use micros which is a little disappointing becuase micros give me extremely useful control of exposure/ risk management which is a core part of my trading success. If there is anyway you could please offer me some better commission rates in light of fact I use micros to benefit us both I would appreciate that very much!
Last but not least is never forget who you are! Your the best becuase your thr most transparent and consumer friendly prop out there! Others are copying you now to catch up but I advise you stay ahead of them and keep attracting the best traders!

I've attempted to get a credit for 1 of 5 prop accounts I setup with the company. I submitted a chat inquiry and a subsequent email inquiry. There was no response after four days. I decided to go to my credit card company to file a dispute. The credit card company issued a refund for the $45, but the company cancelled all of my other accounts without notice and did not refund any of them. This is the poorest customer service I've ever seen. I have yet to have any human interaction with anyone from this company. I get more spam emails from them to convince me to buy more of their services, but it takes an act of Congress to get someone to provide any level of customer service.

I'm really enjoying trading through Take. The only thing they need to improve is this floating drawdown after approving the test. It makes us lose a lot of accounts. It could be EOD like in the test.

I've used many prop firms, and when I say many, it's not just topstep. Apex Trader Funding, Tradeify, FTMO, Alpha Futures, and at the end, Take Profit Trader is the one I'm gonna choose out of all of them. No, I'm not paid in any way for this review, it is a genuine review. They payout if you follow the rules, and they are pretty easy if you are a consistent and sharp trader, and the customer support? I've heard only the worst about TPT in reddit, youtube and everywhere in general, and it appears I was lied too. Second issue with them, and they replied faster then 2 hours, not like with Topstep on example where I was waiting 2 days at least to get somebody to talk about the issue I had. 5 star on point deserved, would have put more if I could.

I cannot recommend this company!
I purchased several accounts with their NOFEE100 code, passed one account, and have already internally withdrawn money from it three times.
Did I receive a refund? NO.
Did they process my withdrawal and is the money in my account (Wise)? NO.
Did I receive a response from customer support? NO.
So if you want to spend some money, TPT seems like a good opportunity. However, if you want to reliably reap the fruits of your hard work, TPT seems like the wrong company for that.
If that changes in the next few days, I will of course adjust my rating. But if the company sends me an email asking for a review, then I have to write this.

This funding company has become a complete scam. After alleged irregularities in some traders' transactions, they introduced new trade review laws, which they have been exploiting. Many traders, like myself, have lost funding accounts due to alleged false alarms or fraudulent trades. Today, I lost my funding account with a loss of less than $500. The company informed me that it was a loss that exceeded the daily loss limit when my account balance was $150,000. If you are Latino and are considering joining this funding platform or company to generate income, we recommend joining another one. This platform started with great success, but it is no longer the best option. Think carefully before investing your money with them. Their best feature used to be customer service. Now, weeks go by and they don't respond to any messages. That's my opinion.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a trading company — and most of it comes from the trade-surveillance team at tradesurveillance.
In my opinion, their process is arbitrary, inconsistent, and poorly handled. They flag accounts without providing solid evidence, rely on tools that seem unreliable, and constantly contradict themselves. Instead of transparency, they create confusion and anxiety, turning simple issues into stressful situations with no clear explanation.
What makes it worse is that I’ve already seen several other traders facing the same problems — accounts marked with “ghost transactions,” unexplained flags, and vague warnings that don’t match the actual trading data. It feels like their system is unstable and their oversight is chaotic.
After everything I’ve experienced — the tension, the contradictory messages, and the lack of accountability — I cannot recommend this company at all. In my personal opinion, the way they operate points to a company with serious internal issues and an uncertain future.

We chose Take Profit Trader over other prop firms because they have the best payout policy. Our experience in the beginning was great. We took one test and failed and upon taking another one we passed. After receiving our pro account things didn't go so well so instead of reseting for a whooping $600 we chose to just do a fresh test for a simple $120. Now we were consistent for 7 days with a winning streak and about 500 dollars away from the 3k target on the 50k evaluation . When I checked I realized we were trading in a pro account and not a test account. So we hit the buffer and was about 500 dollars over. So we contacted the customer support and was sent to the manager. He told us exactly this "Dear ian,
After a thorough review, we’ve confirmed that account TAKEPROFITPRO### was created by a system error. Your only PRO account was TAKEPROFITPRO###.
As shown on the screenshot bellow, you only passed one Test account (TAKEPROFIT) and received your PRO account TAKEPROFITPRO:Therefore as you received, traded and failed your PRO account, we cannot let you keep this extra PRO account that was not supposed to exist.
To avoid any confusion, we have deactivated the account and ensured it will no longer appear on your Tradovate dashboard.

Now I asked what will we be compensated for as this is their negligence either 1) a test refund fee or give us the pro account we were trading regardless if it was a system issue as this account is a real account. They wont give it because then we would automatically be able to withdraw money and since then the manager has left me on read without response. We got robbed and as you know they charge a test fee and then charge a monthly subscription fee. If we traded this account all the way to the 30 day mark and paid the monthly fee for an account "thats a system glitch" does that seem fair ? So now since we lost 1 week of trading we only have 3 weeks till a monthly subscription. Furthermore, WE REACHED out to them as they never even emailed or told us sorry for the confusion. So if we never even told them about this we would of been in the dark. For this simple reason we will never use them again and it has thrown off our trading since this disappointment. Stay away and don't support this company as they have no honor and are money hungry. For crying out loud a test fee with the discounts for the 50k eval are around 100-120 and a reset is about 100. However, when you reset a pro account its around $600 which is a complete rob.

Their system triggered a momentary overlay of 1 MES and 1 MES long which they closed 4 live accounts and wiped out over $7,000 in profits. Between this, their 20 / 80 profit split, 24-48 hour withdrawal times and zero life support like almost every other prop firm has.
They are turning in to the new APEX. You’d be better of using top step who actually care about their customers rather than a company who actively cheats their customers out of their funds.

This was my first experience with a prop firm. I had heard stories of other prop firms not paying funded traders. My first payout was approved and transfered to my wallet the same day I put in a request for a payout.

An excellent propfirm with daily payouts and there s zero additional "small sentence" rules to lose your account. You just trade, they pay. The support is excellent and the affiliate partnership is also gives you good rewards. Simply the best prop out there, but there must be some updates to PRO+.

If u become a PRO+ trader like myself that's definetly worth it because of the good rewards and the trust the firm give you, but its a HUGE problem that support attempts to answer only 1 TIME a week. The average answer time is AT LEAST 3 days. Which is really frustrating if you are not a patient user like me.

Complete sneak attack with the intraday TD on live accounts. I actually have 4 live accounts with you active, and because of that I completely left them behind for a new firm. I’d rather restart somewhere else than deal with that sneak attack bullshit.

I really loved trading with Take Profit Trader but I had to switch due to the Intraday trailing unrealized profit/loss. Its just not realistic for alot of traders unless your constantly moving your stop loss. It literally doesn't make since because on a pro+ account it goes back to end of day realized profit. If they change that rule I would come back.

No, you can get paid from day one. However, there is a Buffer Zone requirement which is equal to your drawdown before you can get paid. Also note that you can only take profits from your buffer after you terminate the account.
Copy trading is allowed, and you can trade up to 5 Pro and Pro+ accounts. For example you can have 3 Pro and 2 Pro+ accounts at once.
The process to get paid out is as follows: first you must withdraw the balance into your Take Profit Trader Wallet. From there, you must then request a withdrawal via your preferred method.
80/20 on the Pro Account, and 90/10 on the Pro+ Account. Do bear in mind the Buffer Requirements for the Pro Account. This does not apply for the Pro+ Account, however.
The Test and Pro+ accounts use an End of Day (EOD) trailing loss. The Pro stage, however, uses an intraday trailing loss which is calculated based on your peak balance intraday and includes realised and unrealised gains.
